Technical Artist

Vostok Games was founded by Ukrainian game industry veterans in March 2012 in Kiev. Our company is young; however the people at its foundation have multiple years of experience in developing and releasing top-class projects worldwide. The experience gained helps us in making new games of a high quality and ones that are deeply immersive and interactive.

What are you working on?

• At what stage of the project(s)? Project at the pre-production stage

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• To develop processes and technologies of content production which meet the needs of artists.

• To develop tools for simplifying the work of 3d artists and level designers.

• Do research for technical solutions and creation of prototypes.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the similar position.

• Experience in Unreal Engine from 3 years.

• Knowledge of scripting programming languages MEL, Python.

• Experience with 3d modelling tools.

• Understanding of the full cycle of 3d content production and its optimization.

• Knowledge of Houdini (procedural modelling), Substance Designer, Substance Painter will be a big plus.
