Data Engineer

Our client is a fast-growing mobile Hyper-Casual and Hybrid-Casual games startup based in Tel Aviv, Israel, focused on developing and publishing high-quality, fun, satisfying and addictive Games.

As they expand, they are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data processing and analysis, with extensive experience in SQL and Python, cloud platforms like GCP, BigQuery, and AWS, and data visualization tools like Redash, Tableau, and Power BI.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

A Data Engineer will work on architecting data solutions for combining data from different sources and visualizing in the right way for the managers to get insights and make decisions.

— Write complex SQL queries to interpret and analyze raw data from our data warehouse.

— Manage ETL processes using Python and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools.

— Integrate third-party APIs to collect and retrieve data relevant to our activities.

— Develop scripts for automating tasks using Python libraries, such as Selenium.

— Maintain and develop data visualization dashboards.

— [Optional] Contribute to the development of machine learning models for predicting user behavior.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

— Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

— Proven experience in writing complex SQL queries and data processing.

— Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries like Selenium.

— Experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially with GCS and BigQuery.

— Proven experience with BI tools such as Redash, Tableau, or Power BI

— Knowledge of AWS, particularly EC2 instances.

— Experience in integrating third-party APIs.

— Work experience in the mobile gaming industry.
